RULE 17

17. EXCLUSION OF CLUBS, OR TEAMS. MISCONDUCT,CLUBS, OFFICIALS, PLAYERS

17.(A) AT THE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING OR AT A SPECIAL GENERAL MEETING CALLED FOR THE PURPOSE, NOTICE OF MOTION HAVING BEEN DULY CIRCULATED ON THE AGENDA, THE ACCREDITED DELEGATES PRESENT SHALL HAVE POWER TO EXCLUDE ANY CLUB OR TEAM FROM FURTHER MEMBERSHIP WHICH MUST BE SUPPORTED BY MORE THAN TWO THIRDS OF THOSE PRESENT AND VOTING. VOTING ON THIS POINT SHALL BE CONDUCTED BY BALLOT.

17.(B) AT THE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING OR SPECIAL GENERAL MEETING CALLED FOR THE PURPOSE, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF RULE 19 , THE ACCREDITED DELEGATES PRESENT SHALL HAVE THE POWER TO EXCLUDE FROM FURTHER PARTICIPATION IN THE COMPETITION ANY CLUB WHOSE CONDUCT HAS, IN THEIR OPINION, BEEN UNDESIRABLE, WHICH MUST BE SUPPORTED BY MORE THAN TWO-THIRDS OF THOSE PRESENT AND VOTING. VOTING AT THIS POINT SHALL BE CONDUCTED BY BALLOT. A CLUB WHOSE CONDUCT IS THE SUBJECT OF THE VOTE BEING TAKEN SHALL BE EXCLUDED FROM VOTING.

17.(C) ANY OFFICIAL OR MEMBER OF A CLUB PROVED GUILTY OF EITHER MISCONDUCT, OTHER THAN FIELD OFFENCES, OR OF INCLUDING OR ATTEMPTING TO INDUCE A PLAYER OR PLAYERS OF ANOTHER CLUB IN THE COMPETITION TO JOIN THEM SHALL BE LIABLE TO EXPULSION OR SUCH PENALTY AS GENERAL MEETING OR MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE DECIDE, AND THEIR CLUB SHALL BE LIABLE TO EXPULSION IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF CLAUSES (A) OF THIS RULE.

17.(D) THE MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE SHALL HAVE POWER TO SUSPEND A CLUBS FIXTURES OR SUSPEND PLAYERS OR CLUB OFFICIALS UNTIL SUCH TIME AS A SPECIAL GENERAL MEETING IS CONVENED TO DEAL WITH ANY ISSUE IN THIS

17.(E) EACH CLUB SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CONDUCT OF THEIR PLAYERS, SPECTATORS, CLUB OFFICIALS AND ANYONE CONNECTED WITH THEIR CLUB IN ANY WAY. IT SHALL ALSO BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CLUB COMMITTEE TO ENSURE THAT NO ONE CONNECTED WITH THEIR CLUB SHALL IN ANYWAY TAKE ANY FORM OF ACTION, BY WORD OR DEED WHICH MAY BRING THE NAME OF THE SOUTH BIRMINGHAM SUNDAY FOOTBALL LEAGUE INTO DISREPUTE. ANY CLUB WHO`S ACTIONS ( BY ANY PLAYER, SPECTATOR, CLUB OFFICIAL OR ANY ONE CONNECTED IN ANY WAY WITH THAT CLUB ) IN THE OPINION OF THE LEAGUE COUNCIL ARE IN BREACH OF THIS RULE SHALL BE CENSURED AND WARNED AS TO THEIR FUTURE CONDUCT AND FINED A SUM WHICH SHALL NOT EXCEED £200-00.

17.(F) THE POSITION OF CLUB OFFICER SHALL BE VACATED IF SUCH PERSON IS SUBJECT TO A DECISION OF THE COMPETITION, THAT SUCH PERSON BE SUSPENDED FROM HOLDING OFFICE OR TAKING PART IN ANY FOOTBALL ACTIVITY RELATING TO THE ADMINISTRATION OR MANAGEMENT OF A FOOTBALL CLUB.
